Tips to generate business ideas to start a production project
Entrepreneur friend, what if you organize your brainstorming session to generate business ideas you need to start production project. I suggest for this exercise you perform the following steps which guarantee its success.
Take careful note of each one of them:
1. Make problem solving a creative challenge. This is very, very, very important. If the challenge is not a challenge, you run the risk of producing a lot of ideas that do not help solve the problem.
A creative challenge can start with questions like: How could we fix this or fix that? Or how we could fix this or fix that?
Upon seeing the challenge as a challenge, let this be concise, to the point and above all to exclude any information that is not related to the problem. For example: In what ways might make the product X or Y? O How you can motivate people to buy product X or Y?
2. Set a time limit. In this regard it is recommended that five (25) minutes. However experience is gained with the team and technology necessary to define real time. Sometimes the big teams may need more time for all members to give ideas.
It is also suggested to put a limit on ideas. For example at least ask for fifty (50) ideas, but keep in mind that one hundred (100) is much better.
3. Immediately begin the brainstorming, the members are proposed and the facilitator notes, usually on a whiteboard or flip chart so everyone can see. Very important to understand at this point that no one is allowed to criticize or contradict the ideas of members. No matter how silly, crazy, or impossible they may seem, all must be written on the board. It should provoke laughter and humor, not criticism.
4. Once time is up, select the five (5) ideas you like best. Make sure all the meeting participants agree with the choice and unanimously approved.
5. List five (5) criteria for judging which ideas best solve the problem or challenge. The criteria should begin with the word “should”, for example, “should be legal”, “should be completed by November 30,” “should become profitable”, etc.
6. Give each idea a score of 0 to 5 points, for example, depending on how well it meets the above criteria. Once all ideas have been evaluated each criterion, add up the total score.
7. The idea with the highest score will best solve your problem. However, it is desirable to keep track of the best ideas and score if, after all, the selected idea is not feasible or can not be done for any reason.
No doubt these steps you can make an effective exercise of brainstorming, I encourage you after reading this article, leave a comment, and make the proposed activity to consciousness, and I guarantee that once made the seven (7) steps above will many business ideas that can be successful in the future. It depends on your motivation, readiness, and entrepreneurship.
